What can I expect from my Introduction Workshop?
​
Using positive training methods only, we can take your dogs natural ability to hunt and focus that on finding a “missing” person in a controlled, but fun environment.
​
During your introduction workshop you will be taught:

Some of the science behind Mantrailing. How dogs see scent and how the environment can affect a dogs ability to trail and their trailing behaviour

Line handling skills – Using the lead as a line of communication, allowing you and your dog to communicate with each other and become bonded as a team

Target sniffing exercises – Teaching your dog to take scent from a specific object on your command

With these newly acquired skills, you and your dog as a team will successfully complete 3 trails – You will find 3 “missing” people!

After this you and your dog will be a certified Mantrailing Global team. With this certificate you can go on to train with any Mantrailing Global Instructor WORLDWIDE!
